Delete Control Task
DELETE CONTROL TASK​
This module allows users to delete Control Tasks that meet specific conditions using filters like Part, Control Plan, Process, and Machine. You can only delete tasks that have generated serial numbers and have not undergone validation.

Step-by-Step: Search & Delete Control Task
1. Search for Delete Control Task​
Access The Delete Control Task Section
- 1. Navigate to the main menu and click on "Production and Quanlity"
- 2. Go to "Operations" and select "Delete Control Task"
2. Apply Filters​
- Use the form to filter available Control Task. The Process field is automatically set to the Initial Process and cannot be changed to other processes.

- Then click the Search button.
Only the latest 100 Control Tasks will be shown for selection, and only from the Initial Process.
3. Understand Search Results​

If Control Tasks matching the filter are found:

A Success toaster appears: "Serial numbers retrieved successfully."

Part Serial Numbers will be displayed in the dropdown for selection(Multi select dropdown).

If no tasks are found:
-
An Info toaster appears: "No serial numbers found for the selected filter."
If the user clicks the Search button without applying any filters, all available Part Serial Numbers (up to the latest 100) will be displayed in the dropdown. The user can select and delete from these as well.
4. Select Serial Numbers to Delete​
- Choose the serial numbers (up to a maximum of 50) from the Part Serial Number dropdown.
- If you need a specific part serial number that is beyond the latest 100 records, you may search for that particular serial number and then select it to delete.
- Once selected, the Confirm Deletion button will be enabled.
5. Delete Control Task​
- Click the Confirm Deletion button to delete the selected Control Tasks.
- After successful deletion:
- A Success toaster is shown: "Control Tasks deleted successfully."
- The serial number list is refreshed using the same search filter, so only the filtered results remain visible.
6. Clear the Form​
- Click the Clear button to reset all fields and selections.
Search Filter Retention (Post-Deletion)​
- After deletion, the search criteria is retained.
- The list continues to show only the filtered results; it does not load all control task items.
Validation Rules​
- Max 50 Control Tasks can be selected at a time for deletion.
- If no Part Serial Numbers are selected and deletion is attempted:
- A warning toaster appears: "Please select at least one Control Task to delete."
- Control Tasks are shown only if:
- They belong to the Initial Process, and
- Serial Number is generated, and
- No validation has been done on that task yet.
